Andrew

Andrew Hyder- Wan Seui Lohon 雲水羅漢 has been a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Martial Arts for over 26 years. During this time, he has focused on Northern Stream (often referred to as Northern Shaolin) and Yang Style Tai Chi.

From 1997 to 2020, Andrew was a student of Elder Master Garry Mullins in Johnson City, Tennessee. There he studied a Northern Steam of the Chinese martial arts that diffused from Indonesia to the United States. Master Mullins sudden passing in 2020 sent Andrew on a journey to further understand the history and meaning of Chinese Martial arts. During this deep dive, his path crossed with Grandmasters Les and Noelle Conn, the 7th generation inheritor’s (Grandmaster’s) of Jin Si Sum 戦士心. After learning about their 35 years of cross-disciplinary search into Chinese Martial Arts, Andrew knew that he had to become a student. In 2021 Andrew joined the 8th generation of Jin Si Sum 戦士心. students and in November 2022 he became the 1st American to be accepted as a closed-door student of Les and Noelle Conn.

Andrew’s university education is in Anthropology, specializing in Archaeology and Cultural resource management. The history, culture, and preservation of traditional martial arts has been a driving force in his professional career.  He hopes to foster stewardship of the deep culture of Chinese Martial Arts for future generation of practitioners from around the world. He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, serving as a Machine Gunner (0331) in the United States Marine Corps from 2001-2006.

Jessica

Jessica Hyder is a certified yoga instructor, personal trainer, and nutrition coach. When she’s not in the gym, on her mat, or training for a fitness competition, she’s spending time with her three rescue pups, testing out a new recipe, learning more about her new hobby - gardening, or dreaming of Disney.

She believes that yoga, fitness, and wellness are for every BODY. Her goal is to help clients create a lifestyle that is sustainable and fulfilling, through a combination of yoga, strength training, cardio training, nutrition, and purposeful rest.

She understands the struggle to balance wellness goals with the outside forces that pull us in all directions. She strives to inspire and support her clients on their wellness journeys!
