Yin Yoga

Yin yoga poses focus on the connective tissues and bringing balance back to the body. While many styles concentration on the building heat, Yin takes a slow, meditative approach. Each class works to bring balance back to the joints and spine, improve joint health, range of motion, and connect our physical bodies with our mental selves. Due to its stilling nature, yin yoga practice helps to move the mind to a state of quiet and calm. This practice is suitable for beginners, yogis of all levels, and all who engage in physical activities. This style is the counterbalance to active yoga, martial arts, running, weightlifting, and physically demanding professions.
